About ECU Soccer Club

What is ECU?

ECU (Elkhart County United) is the collaboration between three area soccer clubs (Elkhart Flames, Goshen Stars, and Middlebury Magic) and several local high schools. The idea stemmed from the frustrations that local clubs and high school coaches had over the lack of available opportunities for club teams at the U15, U16, U17, and U18 age groups for both boys and girls during the spring travel soccer season.

What is the goal of ECU?

ECU will provide maximum player opportunity, quality coaching, highly competitive teams, and collaboration between school and club while keeping costs to a minimum.

What is the Future Vision for ECU?

It is our vision to field two or three teams at each age level for both the girls and boys. We would like to have at least one team competing at the MRL (Midwest Region League) and or the top division in ISL (Indiana Soccer League), a second team competing at the first division in the ISL, and the a third competing in the top division of the NISL (Northern Indiana Soccer League).
